About me My name is Mikhail Strizhov. I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department, Colorado State University since Summer 2009. I received my B.S. in 2008 and M.S. in 2010 from Samara State Aerospace University, Russia in Applied Mathematics and Physics major. My research interests are generally in network security. Specially, I am interested in related issues about global Internet BGP routing systems. I work with Dr. Daniel Massey in the Network Security Group on the BGP Monitoring System (BGPMon). Open-source software I wrote during my studies at Colorado State University

• BGP Monitoring System (BGPmon) - Real-time BGP monitoring system. BGPmon is part of the Oregon Route Views project and uses a publish/subscribe overlay network to provide real-time access to vast numbers of peers and clients. I implemented mechanisms to provide real-time BGP update streams to BGPmon. See BGPmon website for more details.
• BGPmon Parser v0.1 - A simple script written in perl for BGPmon. Parser uses LibXML library and parses XML streams (both update and RIB-IN), which are generated by BGPmon. Click here to Download tar archive or see README file.
